data protection
This privacy policy informs you as a website visitor about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on our websites. According to Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), "personal data" means any information that could be used to personally identify you as a website visitor. The following privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use this data for.
Terminology:
For a common understanding of the terms used here (e.g. processing), we refer here to Art. 4 GDPR, which contains the definitions of the terms used.

How your data is collected:
The clearest collection of your data is when you send it to us, for example by using the contact form on our website to get in touch with us. Furthermore, our content management system automatically collects data from you as soon as you enter the website. This primarily applies to technical data (e.g. the Internet browser you use, the operating system or the time the page was accessed).
The purpose of processing:
The data we collect will be processed if
a) the data processing should be necessary for the provision of our contractual services (e.g. processing of orders).
b) the data processing is required by law.
c) you have given your specific consent to data processing (e.g. registration for a newsletter).
d) the data processing represents our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR (e.g. the interest in analysing and optimising our online offering by measuring reach, creating profiles for advertising and marketing purposes as well as the use of third-party services).
Your rights regarding your data:
In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, you have the right to request information, correction or deletion of your personal data or to revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal message by email.
In the event of breaches of data protection law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which the website operator is based. In our specific case, the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection is the right point of contact: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/SharedDocs/Adressen/LfD/Bayern.html?nn=5217144.
Furthermore, in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive automatically processed data in a structured and machine-readable format and to transfer it to third parties. If technically feasible, you also have the right to request that we transfer your data directly to the selected third party.
The security of your data:
This website uses SSL encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content such as enquiries sent to us via the contact form. Active SSL encryption prevents third parties from accessing your data. You can recognise active SSL encryption by the "https://" in the address bar of your browser. Common browser types also reflect the secure connection via a lock symbol.
Data collection and storage on this website:
cookies
We use so-called cookies to collect and store the data of website visitors. Cookies are small data packets that are stored by your browser on your end device. When you visit our website, you will be asked to consent to the use of cookies. The cookies we use are usually deleted again after you close your browser. Other cookies are saved permanently on your device so that we can recognise you on your next visit. However, you can delete cookies yourself at any time via your browser settings. We use cookies to ensure the full functionality of our website. Deactivating cookies can restrict this functionality accordingly.
log files
The provider of our website saves the IP address, the browser used, the time, the date and the operating system used by a website visitor in so-called log files. Only pseudonymised IP addresses of visitors to the website are stored. At web server level, this is done by storing an IP address 123.123.123.XXX, where XXX is a random value between 1 and 254, in the log file instead of the visitor's actual IP address, e.g. 123.123.123.123. It is no longer possible to establish a personal reference.
The log files are automatically deleted by our provider after two weeks of storage. Backups of data are stored for 14 days in encrypted form.
contact form
Our website uses contact forms which you can use to send us direct enquiries by email. The enquiry data from the corresponding contact form will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for the potential case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your specific consent. If you have given us your consent to do so, you can revoke it at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal notification by e-mail. We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request).
Social media
Use of Youtube
Our websites contain cross-references (links, social plugins) to YouTube or videos from YouTube. By using "social plugins" and hyperlinks, you leave our website and access the website of a third-party provider. Versino is not responsible for the extent to which your personal data is stored, processed or passed on to third parties by the website accessed. Further information on YouTube's privacy policy can be found at http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube?hl=de
