ELSTER 2024 for SAP Business One

The 2024 update of the ELSTER add-on for SAP Business One version 10.0 is a routine but important step for small and medium-sized companies to keep their business processes in line with current tax law requirements in Germany.

Requirements for the 2024 tax year

With the introduction of ERiC version 39.2.6.0, the Elster authority is responding to the requirements for the 2024 tax year, emphasising the need for companies to update their systems accordingly.

New Elster version mandatory from February 2024

For users of SAP Business One 10.0, the use of the new ELSTER Rich Client (ERiC) version 39.2.6.0 will be mandatory for advance VAT returns from January or February 2024 at the latest. This update will ensure that tax data is transmitted smoothly and in accordance with the latest regulations.

Update for SAP Business One 10

The updated ELSTER add-on for SAP Business One 10.0 enables companies to submit their tax data efficiently and correctly directly from the SAP system. For the submission of Advance turnover tax return The use of this or a later version is required from 1 January 2024 to February 2024 in order to meet the requirements.

SAP Business One Version 9.3 and older must be updated

For users who are still working with SAP Business One version 9.3 or older, an update to SAP Business One 10.0 is mandatory in order to activate support for ERiC 39. Without this update, the transmission of reports from SAP B1 will no longer be possible from February 2024. As an interim solution, companies can use the tax return and submit the data manually via the Elster portal.

With the installation of the latest ELSTER add-on for SAP Business One version 10.0, users who have already switched over can submit their tax data online as usual.
