Distribution refers to all the necessary decisions and systems that make a service or product available to the customer. In direct distribution, a company sells directly to end consumers. In indirect sales, products or services are sold by the manufacturer via other sales organs, e.g. via retailers. In an ERP/CRM system - or a system integration such as SAP Business One - several functions are provided to facilitate the sales process.
