In SAP Business One, a query category is a way of organizing queries into logical groups. Query categories allow queries related to specific business areas, functions or data to be collected.

For example, there may be query categories related to customers, suppliers, items, and financial data. Query categories can be used to simplify the search for queries and to keep track of the possible queries.

Query categories are usually defined in the query manager managed in SAP Business One. These categories can be used to query, add to specific query categories, or create query categories to organize queries. By using query categories, searching for queries can be simplified and one can keep track of the available queries.
