A constant price at which a material is valued without taking into account goods movements and invoices.
In SAP Business One, standard prices for goods or services can be used in different ways, for example as sales prices in quotations and orders, as purchase prices in purchase orders and deliveries, or as prices in bills of materials. Standard prices can also be used as the basis for price calculation in price and discount lists.
However, it should be noted that standard prices do not always correspond to the actual selling or purchase price of a good or service. Actual prices may vary due to discounts, offers or other factors. Rather, standard prices are the basis for the Pricing and help a company monitor its pricing policy.
