Drag and Drop (Drag'n'Drop; German = ziehen und fallenlassen), describes an operation of graphical user interfaces by means of the mouse (pointing device). An element can be dragged over the surface and released over the desired target. For example, in ERP software such as SAP Business One, fields can be moved and assigned to any place on the screen by dragging and dropping.
