Authorization (SAP Business One)

Authorisation in SAP Business One of a user for an object or task.
Different authorisation levels can be assigned to a user at user level and at user group level. The effective
Authorisation is the highest level of authorisation applied to the user.

Example:

  • User U001 is assigned to group A and group B.
  • U001 authorisation = write-protected
  • Group A Authorisation = Full
  • Group B Eligibility = None
  • This results in the effective authorisation = max {Read-Only, Full, None} = Full.
