Price lists (SAP Business One)

Users can create and manage different types of price lists in SAP Business One.

Standard price lists are the standard price lists for article or products that form the basis for all price calculations. They are used for specific customers or customer groups and can be assigned to specific sales documents. They can also be used for specific Delivery or Supplier groups used and certain Purchasing documents be assigned.

Each price list can be assigned to one or more currencies and can contain numerous price levels based on variables such as quantity or date. The user can also configure different price formulas and discounts and set a price list as the default for a specific item or product.

When creating a price list, the user can specify the prices for each item, and the prices can be set for different items. Currencies be different. The user can also assign specific consumers, customer groups, suppliers or supplier groups to the price list. Optionally, the user can select a date range for the price list so that the prices are only valid for a specific period.

SAP Business One also offers price calculation functions that enable the configuration of multiple price formulas and discounts. For example, you can configure a price formula that determines the price depending on the cost of the item, or configure a discount that applies to all products in a certain category.

Users can also create and manage special prices that are valid for a limited period of time and take precedence over normal prices. If you want to offer a promotion or a time-limited discount, special prices are very useful.
