Cumulative Cumulative Concept

In the cumulative quantities concept, the quantities to be supplied or produced for defined periods are enumerated in production planning. Here, demand and consumption are represented as a cumulative curve. The representation is suitable for target and actual values, so that backlogs, advance production, and the problems of inbound and outbound production can be handled easily. The cumulative quantities concept is mostly used in the JIT environment when manufacturers and suppliers want to compare target and actual values of ordered products.

Progress number concept occurs in this blog.
