Tax number (SAP Business One)

An identification number issued by the tax authorities to taxpayers.
Each country has its own system. In some countries, for example, tax numbers are only issued to legal entities,
while natural persons use their personal identification number as their tax number. In other countries will be made available to all persons
assigned its own tax number.
In countries where taxes are not only levied at the national (or federal) level, but also at the local level (by states or municipalities), multiple tax numbers may be assigned.
