The new major release 6.1.000 is available for MariProject, the SAP Business One industry software for service providers, IT companies and plant manufacturers.
Overview screens for projects, contracts and purchasing processes
New overview and search masks have been created for the main programme, the web client and the mobile client:
- Project overview.
- Contract overview, contract item search
- Purchasing transaction overview, purchasing item search
Faster processing of contract positions
When editing an item in the contract, only the change is now saved. In the previous versions, all contract items were always saved. Similarly, there is also an improvement in the purchasing processes.
Deadline monitoring for purchasing processes / deadline monitoring for orders
To analyse the ordered items and their delivery, the "Deadline monitoring for purchasing processes" was newly developed. In addition, a "Deadline monitoring for purchase orders" was developed, which monitors both project-based purchase orders and normal purchase orders from SBO.
Cross-project ordering process
To date, the project manager has created purchasing processes that are then procured by the purchasing department. To do this, the project manager must already make a categorisation between different material groups. Now the project manager can transfer all the material he needs to the purchasing department via material call-offs. The Purchasing then orders the individual product groups from the suppliers on a cross-project basis.

The display of opportunities in MARIProject has been redeveloped in the main programme, web client and mobile client and now enables all settings as in SBO.
Special leave / request for unpaid absences
Special leave can now be requested. The field for the special leave due is calculated by the approved special leave requests. In addition, a new request type for unpaid absences has been added.
Special approval procedures per project/contract
Deviating from the approval process Separate processes can be set up for special projects in each business area.
Authorisations cost centres
Evaluations on individual cost centres can now be assigned rights.
