SAP Business One FP2111 was released with a slight delay as it provides solutions to the recent Log4j gap contains. In addition, the new SAP Business One Web Client has been improved with a modern look and smart features. In addition to updates due to new regulatory requirements, FP2111 includes improvements in the areas of sales, purchasing and service, Financial management, Bank processing and Human Resourcesn.
Fixing the Log4j vulnerabilities
SAP Business One FP2111 fixes the problem related to Apache Log4j vulnerabilities in SAP Business One. In order to apply the solution, existing SAP Business One installations must be updated to the current version.
With the published patch, SAP no longer recommends using the workaround described above (SAP Note/KBA 3131789).
Integration in Microsoft Teams
Another application package is added to the SAP Business One product suite. This application package allows you to configure the SAP Business One application in Microsoft Teams for your company so that the members of your company can access the SAP Business One web client application directly in Microsoft Teams. The members of the company can use all the supported features of the Web Client with SAP Business One FP2111. People can collaborate via chats and manage processes easily and seamlessly without having to switch between systems.

Export sales documents as Word files to Microsoft OneDrive and view them online by clicking on the Share menu and the new option, the new "Export to Word" option. The export uses standard templates similar to those in the SAP Business One client.
When exporting to Word, standard templates similar to those of the SAP Business One client are used.
Sending emails with sales documents attached by clicking on the Share menu and selecting the new option "Send as email".
Scan Business Card Function SAP Business One FP2111
With the new scan business card feature, you can now create a business partner by uploading a photo or taking a photo of a business card with an iOS device.
Attachments for parts lists
In a new tab you can now also insert attachments into the parts list window. With the additional checkboxes you have the following setting options:
Plants from the parts list copy into the production order: If you tick this checkbox, the programme automatically copies the attachments from the parts list to the production order.
Do not overwrite attachments with the same name: If you tick this box, you can upload files with the same name as a file without overwriting the existing file. The programme then automatically assigns a unique file name for the new attachment.
Query Manager Extension
In the query manager window, the context menu has been extended after right-clicking on a query. The new options are:
Rename: Query new name
Edit: Edit a custom query without execution
Report on the fulfilment of the framework agreement
There are now 4 new fields in the report on the fulfilment of the framework agreement:
Total quantity ordered: the total quantity of open purchase orders or sales orders
Cumulative amount ordered: the total amount of open orders or sales orders. Open Total amount: the total sum of the planned quantity.
Total open amount: the sum of the planned amounts.
