- Definition: User-defined tables in SAP Business One are specially created tables that are used to store additional data. They can be individually defined and integrated into the system.
- Object types: When creating a user-defined table, the appropriate object type must be selected. There are two main types:
- Master data: For static data that rarely changes.
- Receipt: Contains all the functions of the master data objects plus additional document-specific functions such as document numbering or document closing.
- Application: The choice of object type depends on the intended use of the table.
- Table structure: The table structure can already be used as soon as the fields are defined - even if the actual object does not yet exist.
- UDO tables:
- The main table (e.g. accessory item header) is displayed as "Master data" defined.
- The line table (e.g. accessory item detail) belongs to the category "Master data lines".
