Packaging units can be defined for each product in SAP Business One. The number of Products per packaging unit and the weight of the packaging unit can be specified. This information is then taken into account when buying and selling products.
For example, if you are sending a product to a recipient, you can specify the number of packaging units you want to send instead of the Quantity of the individual products. This makes it easier to track how many packaging units have been delivered.
