Among other things, the following functions and innovations for SAP Business One 9.0 were announced:

Storage locations

• Division of the warehouse into up to 4 sub-levels (zone-area shelf row)
• Storage bin codes (with up to 10 user-defined attributes, e.g. size, weight, dangerous, etc.)
• Integration of batches

Regular inventory

• More flexible counting frequencies and repetition settings for these
• Definition of inventory cycles per warehouse, storage location or at item level
• Receipt of notifications for items with due inventory

Stock count

• New document for recording and managing the counting process and counting result
• Direct posting of stock count results without counting process

Various units of measure (ME)

• Individual MEs can be summarised as a subset based on conversion rules
• Standard ME can be automatically converted to alternative ME in transaction processing
• Update price lists for each ME
• Determination of different packaging types per ME

Internal purchase requisition

• New form and report
• Creation of supplier enquiries or purchase orders directly from the purchase requisition or report
• Support for the creation wizard for supplier enquiries
• Supports authorisation procedures

Pricing

• Activate price lists and discount groups and set validity period
• Different units of measure and different currencies for price lists
• Price lists per customer/supplier group
• Extension for discount groups and freer discount design at business partner level

Voucher cancellation

• New "Cancellation" document
• Transactions in accounting, tax, finance and warehouse management are completely cancelled in one step
• Documents are automatically closed and fully cleared internally
• Original documents can be used again as base documents
• Display of "Cancelled" and "Cancellation" documents in reports and linking plan
• Authorisation-controlled

Integrated and comprehensive solution for asset accounting

• Handling of different accounting areas (e.g. local accounting and parallel accounting standards)
• Flexible calculation of the Depreciationthat fulfils local requirements and international accounting standards
• Authorisation concept

• Support for multiple languages

Implementation Centre: Tasks and project

• Summary of implementation tools in the Implementation Tasks window
• Quick Copy is a new solution for data exchange between companies
• Prefabricated Project managementt checklists based on the SAP AIP methodology
• 3 sample project templates (available in several languages), option to create your own project templates
• Option to add general information, notes or attachments to each step

System Landscape Directory (SLD)

• New SLD service for security configuration and server management
• SLD service has been added to the server tool installation and replaces the current security configuration process

Single Sign On

• 64bit support for SAP Business One
• Supports 64bit DIAPI and UIAPI, 64bit SAP addons, 64bit SDK for addon migration
• Supports transactions with high memory consumption such as DB upgrades, revaluations, etc.
