SAP Business One 9.2 entered a new phase in mid-December 2015. Early Adopter Care Phase is the name of the development phase, which SAP used to call "Ramp-Up". It is not yet entirely clear when exactly SAP Business One 9.2 will be available to all users. However, SAP partners and existing customers can already take a look at what new functions SAP B1 will offer them in the new version.
Among other things, SAP Business One brings the following innovations:
New Web browser access
SAP Business One now offers the option of accessing the software via a web browser. Depending on the situation, each user can choose whether to operate the ERP software via the classic Windows client or via the browser.
New project management
SAP Business One 9.2 comes up with a new project management. Tasks, project stages and project phases now allow projects to be managed within SAP Business One. Through the integration, data from logistics can now be used, merchandise management and financial management together with the new project management evaluate together.
New regulation on file ownership
In SAP Business One 9.2, it is now possible to fine-tune who has access to which data and how. For example, a sales employee only sees the data and documents of the business partners that he or she is currently processing. In addition to a better overview, this results in greater data security.
New HANA Excel Plugin
For users of the HANA version of SAP Business One, there is an Excel plug-in to work with the capabilities of the Microsoft standard software to be able to create reports.
