From February 2022, users of SAP Business One must also use the new ELSTER Rich Client (ERiC) version 35.2.8.0 to send the 2022 advance VAT return. A new version of the ELSTER AddOn for SAP Business One 10.0 has been released for this purpose. The new ELSTER AddOn for SAP Business One finance is now available for download.
The implementation changes for 2022 will be provided by the Elster authorities with version ERiC 35. Companies that submit their advance VAT return for January 2022 in February 2022 must use this ERiC version or a newer version.

A new version of the ELSTER AddOn for SAP Business One 10.0 has now been released.
SAP has now made the new add-on for version 10.0 available. Version 10 is the prerequisite for supporting ERiC 35, so an update is recommended if in doubt.
With older versions, reporting for January 2022 from SAP Business One will no longer be possible from February 2022. Alternatively, you can only use the tax report and enter the data manually in Elster portal transferred.
With SAP Business One version 10.0, you can install the latest version of the ELSTER add-on and transmit the data online as usual.
ELSTER (ELektronische STeuerERerklärung) is a nationwide e-government project of the tax authorities. This service enables all citizens, companies and employers to send various tax returns, applications (e.g. deadline extension request, objection, change of address) and notices to the tax authorities electronically.
