SAP Business One FP2111 has been released with a slight delay as it provides solutions to the recent Log4j gap contains. In addition, the new SAP Business One Web Client has been improved with a modern look and intelligent functions. In addition to updates due to new regulatory requirements, FP2111 contains improvements in the areas of sales, purchasing and service, Financial management, Bank processing and Human Resourcesn.
Fixing the Log4j vulnerabilities
SAP Business One FP2111 fixes the problem related to the Apache Log4j vulnerabilities in SAP Business One. To apply the solution, existing SAP Business One installations must be updated to the current version.
With the published patch, SAP no longer recommends using the workaround described above (SAP Note/KBA 3131789).
Integration in Microsoft Teams
The SAP Business One product suite is supplemented by a further application package. With this application package, you can configure the SAP Business One application in Microsoft Teams for your company so that the members of your company can access the web client application for SAP Business One directly in Microsoft Teams. With SAP Business One FP2111, members of the organisation can use all the supported functions of the web client. You can collaborate via chats and manage processes easily and seamlessly without having to switch between systems.

Export sales documents as Word files to Microsoft OneDrive and view them online by clicking on the Share menu and the new option, the new "Export to Word" option. The export uses standard templates similar to those in the SAP Business One client.
When exporting to Word, standard templates are used that are similar to those in the SAP Business One client.
Sending emails with sales documents as attachments by clicking on the Share menu and selecting the new option "Send as email".
Scan Business Card Function SAP Business One FP2111
With the new scan business card function, you can now create a business partner by uploading a photo or taking a photo of a business card with an iOS device.
Attachments for parts lists
In a new tab, you can now also insert attachments into the parts list window. With the additional checkboxes, you have the following setting options:
Plants from the Parts list copy into the production order: If you tick this checkbox, the programme automatically copies the attachments from the parts list to the production order.
Do not overwrite attachments with the same name: If you tick this box, you can upload files with the same name as a file without overwriting the existing file. The programme then automatically assigns a unique file name for the new attachment.
Query Manager Extension
The context menu in the query manager window has been expanded after right-clicking on a query. The new options are:
Rename: Query new name
Edit: Edit a user-defined query without execution
Report on framework contract fulfilment
There are now 4 new fields in the report on the fulfilment of the framework agreement:
Total quantity orderedthe total quantity of open orders or customer orders
Cumulative amount orderedThe total amount of open purchase orders or sales orders. Open Total amount: the total sum of the planned quantity.
Open total amount: the sum of the planned amounts.
