Activity overview (SAP Business One)

the Activity overview In SAP Business One, there is a report that provides a comprehensive overview of all activities and can be restricted based on numerous criteria.

Call for applications and selection criteria

The report is available in the Business Partners module in the activity reports. In the CRM module, it is included in the CRM reports. When called up, the Activities Overview – Selection Criteria window opens first.

In the Activity dropdown list, the user selects the activity type, for example Campaign. Additional criteria include Business Partner (GP-Code), User, Employee, Type, Theme, and Start and End Date. This creates, for example, an overview of all the calls made by a user within a defined period of time.

Call-up from master data, documents and opportunities

In the Business Partner master data, the entry "Show related activities" leads to the "Activities overview" window for business partners. This window displays all active and unfinished activities for the selected business partner. In a record, a right-click on the record with the "Activities overview" entry opens all the activities that are associated with that record. In both windows, the orange arrow in the first column leads to the individual activity.

In an Opportunity list, the Activity Overview button lists all the activities associated with that Opportunity. The button is only active when activities are actually linked to the Opportunity.

Demarcation

The My Activities report shows only the activities of the active user. By default, it only includes open activities. This setting can be changed. The activity overview, on the other hand, covers all activities. Opportunities describes the entry „Opportunity (Sales Opportunity) (SAP Business One),“ while the activities themselves are described in the entry „Activities (SAP Business One).“.
