Of the Calendar in SAP Business One, it shows all activities such as phone calls, meetings, and other activities that have a start time and an end time.
Call to action and views
The user opens the calendar via the Calendar button in the very right-hand side of the toolbar. The option buttons in the upper left area switch between the views Month, Week, Workweek, and Day. To jump to a specific date, the user enters the date in the Date field and clicks the Change button. The Today button returns to the current date. A double click on an appointment opens the activity behind it.
Group view
In the day view, the Groups view checkbox displays multiple calendars side by side. This way, the user sees the schedules of his employees alongside his own.
Filter by activity type
The buttons Call, Meeting, Campaign, Other, Task, and Service Call in the upper right area narrow the view to these activity types. If all the buttons are clicked, the calendar shows all the activity types. For example, clicking the Call button will hide all calls.
Settings
Using the Forms Settings button in the toolbar, the user adjusts the calendar. On the General tab, for example, he sets the minutes per line. The Workweek tab contains the weekly settings. On the Users tab, he selects the Group view checkbox for the users whose calendars he wants to see in the group view. In the Color column, he assigns a color to a sales representative. In this color, the calendar then displays their appointments.
Demarcation
Service calls also appear in the calendar. The user sets the start time, end time, and meeting location in the service call on the Planning tab (see „Service Call (SAP Business One)“. The types of calendar entries are explained in the „Activity Type (SAP Business One)“ entry. The general form settings window is described in the „Form Settings (SAP Business One)“ entry.
