Boyum IT Solutions

E-invoicing in Germany: How to implement the obligation with SAP Business One

Boyum IT Solutions is one of the largest independent add-on manufacturers in the SAP Business One ecosystem. The Danish company offers a family of products that enhance SAP B1 in the areas of usability, production, purchasing, warehousing, and reporting Supplement this. Products like the B1 Usability Package, Beas-based production solutions (expandable), and tools for Pervasive Analytics are widely used around the world.

Context

The product portfolio includes, in particular: the B1 Usability Package for surface and workflow customisations, Produbiz/Beas Manufacturing for manufacturing companies with demanding production and calculation, Perfion PIM for product information management as well as cloud and mobile enhancements. Following the acquisition of several add-on houses (including Coresystems/Coresuite successor products), Boyum is one of the few vendors that delivers a broad, homogeneous product suite for B1 partners and customers. Boyum products are integrated into the SAP partner network, are distributed through SAP B1 partners, and receive regular release cycles that are aligned with SAP FP releases.

Demarcation

Boyum IT Solutions is not a consultancy or systems integrator, but a software manufacturer — the implementation With the end customer, this runs via the SAP B1 partner, who sets up and integrates the products. Compared to Coresuite (today itself part of the Boyum world or formerly Coresystems), Boyum is the overarching brand; compared to German specialists such as Versino, CKS or Variatec, Boyum is internationally oriented and therefore does not cover every country- or industry-specific niche – which is why many DACH installations combine Boyum products with local additional add-ons.
