The SAP Business One Service Manager is a tool for Configuration and management of various services within SAP Business One. It enables the control of central functions and services that are required for the smooth operation of SAP Business One.
Main functions:
- workflow Service: Used to configure and manage workflows. This allows standardised processes to be set up for different business processes. The Workflow Service ensures that workflow instances in SAP Business One match the process templates designed in SAP Business One Studio.
- Job Service - Mailer: Enables the management of e-mail notifications and alarms. Settings for sending e-mails and the "Start when the operating system starts" option can be configured.
- Service Layer Controller: About the URL
https://:/ServiceLayerControllercan be used to access the service layer controller. Nodes can be added or removed there and the behaviour of the service layer can be controlled. From version SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2202, a log monitor is available for analysing errors. - System Landscape Directory (SLD): Displays all installed and registered SAP Business One services, including Licence Manager, Job Service, Browser Access Service and Workflow Service.

The SAP Business One Service Manager is opened via the Windows start menu: All programmes → SAP Business One → Server Tools → Service Manager. The services can be selected and managed individually here.
