System requirements (SAP Business One)

The system requirements for SAP Business One comprise a combination of hardware and software requirements that must be met in order for the application to run stably and efficiently.   • Processor: 1 × Intel® Xeon® E3 (or equivalent)
  • Working memory: 4 GB (minimum), recommended: 16-32 GB
  • Hard disc: System partition 32 GB, data partition 10 GB
  • A notice: Dual-core processors are supported on both the server and client side.
  • SAP HANA: Requires separate, certified hardware. Details can be found in SAP Note 2382775 listed.

  • Processor: 1 × Intel® Core® i3 (or equivalent)
  • Working memory: 2 GB (minimum), recommended: 4-8 GB
  • Hard disc: System partition 32 GB, data partition 10 GB
  • Drive: DVD-ROM (for physical installation media)
  • Screen resolution: at least 1280 × 800 pixels, 24-bit colour depth
  • A notice: Some Add ons may require additional memory.

Software requirements

  • Only Main versions of Microsoft Windows, Office and SQL servers are officially tested.
  • Microsoft Service packs are not tested separately, but are generally supported.
  • .NET Framework 4.8 is mandatory for certain components.
  • Supported server operating systems: z.e.g. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (x86/x64)
  • For SAP HANA installations: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and OpenSSL required.
