MARIProject is a project management solution fully integrated into the SAP Business One software landscape - and was developed specifically for industries that think and work in projects.

MARIProject 7.5 is here. The new version offers a wide range of improvements and enhancements. One important new feature, for example, is the ability to edit the employee master data in the Web Client:

MARI employee master data in the Web Client

• Creation of new employeesThe investment wizard now also supports the web interface.
• Editing existing employeesEmployee data can be updated directly in the Web Client.
• Add "Valid from" periodsNew periods can be defined for changes in the business area or for special events such as maternity leave.

MARI calendar master in the Web Client

The calendar master has also been expanded in the Web Client:

• Viewing and editingCalendar can now not only be viewed, but also changed.
• Customised calendars and templatesIndividual employee calendars and calendar templates are now fully available in the Web Client.
• Working time rulesNew working time rules can be created accordingly.

Contract bill of materials extensions

The management of project-specific BOMs in MARIProject 7.5 Contract BOMs has been optimised:

• Accelerated display: The hierarchical display of the Contracts in the project is now faster.
• Import of parts listsWhen importing, you can now set the phase of the header article directly.

Expansion of material requirement requests

The material requirements enquiry module has also been improved. This enables project managers to plan more efficiently.

• Calculation of requirementsMARIProject calculates the procurement and production times of the components in order to determine the order date for header items accordingly.
• Create Purchasing Transaction from Sales WizardA new "Order date" page makes the calculations transparent.

Production enhancements in MARIProject 7.5

The production module also received useful enhancements:

• Analysing incoming goodsA new function analyses which production inserts have all the parts required to start them.
• Printing the checklist resultsThe results of production operations and production steps can now be printed.

Preliminary entry of incoming invoice without project reference

The handling of incoming invoices without a project reference is now easier.

• New menu itemsSimplified masks for goods receipts and incoming invoices
• Storage wizardUnnecessary pages for incoming invoices without project reference are omitted.
• Filter mask for preliminary entries: The list of the preliminary entries was based on a filter mask.
• DMS integrationAttachments to the preliminary entry are now stored in the DMS after transfer to SAP Business One.

Inbox extensions

The inbox module now offers additional functions:

• Improved settings screen: Clearer naming of actions in the process tree.
• New action typePreliminary entry of incoming invoice without project' has been added.
• Optimised search: There is an improved search by client and vendor

Acceleration of the MARI SharePoint interface

The query for special documents via SharePoint has been optimised:

• Search indexOptionally, you can create a search index in the MARIProject tables, which speeds up the search considerably.
• SynchronisationExisting documents in SharePoint can also be synchronised with the MARIProject Index

Extensions Web Client of MARIProject 7.5.

• Travel expense master dataNew masks have been added.
• Client basics: Further registers have been activated.
• Service calls: There is now an assistant for recording hours

Other changes in MARIProject 7.5

Other general enhancements include:

• Tax determinationActivation of rules, which thereby camp at the position.
