New management for units of measure in SAP Business One 9.0

Managing stock with more than one unit of measure for different items is a regular scenario for a ERP software such as SAP Business One.

Managing the same position with different Units of measure in different types of transactions (such as distribution, purchasing, etc.) is also common.

But the administration of the same articles in the same kind of Transactions with different units of measure may not be so frequent.

To date, SAP Business One has managed the handling of the first two cases mentioned above flawlessly. With SAP Business One 9.0, the third case can also be implemented efficiently.

Maximum flexibility is achieved by defining groups of units of measure with rules for conversion between base units of measure and alternative units of measure within the groups.
