SAP Business One HANA from the Amazon Cloud

Nevertheless, this announcement is definitely an exclamation mark. If you study SAP's announcement more closely, you realise that it could be a combination of a purchase and a rental model and not just a cloud-based solution. Software as a Service (SAAS).

This is because Sap Business One users can use their existing (purchased) licences themselves and use the PAAS (Platform as a Service) to use their advantages. But before all existing SAP Business One customers frantically check the possibilities and costs: the offer is provided for Sap Business One on Hana, which is basically the real innovation. After all, the operation of HANA requires special hardware.

However, if you absolutely want to use Amazon's services to run your Windows ? Server and MS-SQL Database to the cloud can also use this setup. Amazon EC2 also enables the MS Windows operationand the databases SQL Server Express Edition, SQL Server Web Edition and SQL Server Standard Edition. The use is charged on an hourly basis.
