Coresuite Framework

E-invoicing in Germany: How to implement the obligation with SAP Business One

That Coresuite Framework is the common runtime and infrastructure layer for all Coresuite add-ons for SAP Business One. It provides services that each individual product – Customize, Designer, Country Package, Easy Functions, Sharpshooter, LayoutHelper, SIP Management – uses: license management, user roles, menu integration, event handling, database abstraction and update mechanisms.

Context

When starting SAP Business One, the framework loads as the central add on first and then checks which Coresuite components are installed and licensed in the client. It opens the database connection, registers its own UI API event listeners, and holds the shared configuration cache. Licence functions are in the Coresuite Administration managed, per user and per module; the assignment determines which menus and functions are visible. The UDT namespaces follow the SAP B1 conventions — Coresuite tables typically bear the prefix @COR_ and hold configurations, validation rules, layout mappings, and print logs. For monitoring, the framework provides logs and diagnostic functions, which simplify cross-module troubleshooting.

Demarcation

The framework is not a standalone functional module — it does not provide evidence, layouts or evaluations, but only the foundation on which the functional modules work. Compared to the Versino/VerXs framework of the Versino Financial Suite, it is outside the standard product behaviour: Customers with both worlds in the same client have two parallel infrastructure layers. And it does not, of course, replace the SAP B1 standard kernel: Without SAP Business One itself, neither the framework nor any of the Coresuite modules will run.
