important administrative actions can be performed. While the actions of a regular SAP Business One user or
superuser at company or database level, the actions of the location user are valid at customer location level,
where a site can include both a licence server and several other servers.

The site user ID serves as authentication at site level for carrying out the following activities:
- Configure Database-Credentials
- Create company
- Configuring services: e.g. registering database servers and configuring their access permissions in the
Licence Manager Security Settings - Add-on registration
- Company upgrades
- Updating read-only user passwords
In the following situations, a site user password is required for authentication against the licence server:
- Configuring services with SAP Business One Service Manager
- These services are SBO Backup, SBO DI Server, License Manager and SBO Mailer.
