Application service providing

A service provided in the form of an application or software by the service provider (provider) via the Internet. However, the system does not have to be installed in the usual way, nor do software licences have to be purchased by the customer. This is why we also speak of 'rental software', which runs via modern service provider data centres. Hosting, maintenance and administration, as well as backups or restoration of data remain the provider's tasks.

Application Service Providing comes up in this blog.
