the Cash security regulation (KassenSichV) is the German regulation that details the technical arrangements for cash sales.
Classification
Sales of cash to customers are subject to special regulations in some countries. In some cases these regulations only apply up to a certain limit, while in others they apply in principle. Austria describes the technical provisions, for example, in the Registration Cashier Security Ordinance (RKSV), where they apply from cash receipts of 7,500 euros per year. The Tax Code regulates the requirements for digital records in § 146a and the cash register audit in § 146b. If a company uses an electronic recording system, the individual record obligation is governed by § 146(1), Sentence 1 of the AO. However, in the case of an open cash register, it is not required for reasons of reasonableness.
Reference to SAP Business One
SAP Business One generates sales of goods to the public using the „Outbound invoice and payment“ document type and a dummy customer. The integrated cash register system SAP Customer Checkout is suitable. If you want to process sales of goods using SAP Business One or need to do so, you must first agree with a consultant and tax advisor.
Reference to the e-invoice
An invoice for more than 250 euros is not sufficient for domestic entrepreneurs unless a transitional arrangement applies. Initially, a receipt on site is sufficient, followed by a correction through an e-invoice (FAQ 10).
