Sort code (SAP Business One)

Of the Sort code in SAP Business One is a key that gives you Profit centre and is used for sorting. It determines the sorting method and can be used for each table column displayed by the system.

Sorting types:
Depending on the type of data to be sorted, the following types are available:

  • Alphanumeric
  • Numeric
  • Monetary
  • Binary

Sort order:
In the column "Sort" you can enter a positive integer to specify the order of the options in drop-down lists.

  • The lower the sort number, the higher the option appears in the list.
  • Example: If reason 1 is the number 1 and reason 2 the number 2 reason 1 appears first in the drop-down list, followed by reason 2.
