The UID number is a standard field in SAP Business One.
In addition to submitting the recapitulative statement, a valid VAT identification number of the business partner in an EU country is a prerequisite for utilising the tax exemption for intra-Community deliveries. If you do not have a valid VAT identification number of the partner at the time of the delivery or service, the delivery or service is subject to VAT!
You also face a fine of up to €5,000 (26a UStG).
