The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the top digitalisation topics in the SME sector. Now the Czech Versino subsidiary has opened a door to the Internet of Things for SAP Business One.
SIGFOX is a French company that has taken on a challenging task: building an independent global wireless network. However, the Start-up not fight with the big players for global mobile phone users. The new network will be used exclusively to connect sensors to the internet. So it's all about the Internet of Things.

Versino IoT
Our colleagues at Versino Cz have recognised the opportunities of this technology and integrated it into SAP Business One.
The Versino IoT Hub for SAP Business One enables bidirectional communication between SAP Business One and Sigfox sensors or internet-connected devices using SAP Business One Service Layer and SAP Cloud Platform IoT Services.
The Versino IoT Monitor allows Sigfox sensors and IoT-enabled devices to be managed online.
Use cases
The use cases are, for example, in the field of predictive maintenance, i.e. maintenance/repair before a defect occurs. Areas of application such as automated service task planning or automated spare parts availability checks are also possible.
First customer is live
And one customer is already using Versino's Internet of Things technology.
The customer USSPA produces top design and high-quality spas and pools at its plant in Dolní Dobrouč, Czech Republic.
USSPA sells its products worldwide via various sales channels and distributors, including direct sales via its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Spain.
USSPA has decided to incorporate the IoT solution into its digital technology landscape centred around SAP Business One. This will enable the company to improve control over the products it delivers worldwide and change its customer service strategy from reactive to proactive.
The solution supports service managers, service technicians and spare parts managers in carrying out their service jobs.
