With nice regularity, MariProject gets a supplement to the already lavish range of functions. The new version of the application for project-driven service providers and plant engineers has once again seen a number of enhancements that are well worth seeing. An announcement hidden in the update note is worthy of attention: A newsletter tool of its own. MariProject goes CRM!

Properties for contact persons, employees, participants
Analogous to the properties in SBO of the business partners, properties can be used for contact persons. For use in the future newsletter tool, the properties can be used to define desired newsletter topics.
Contact search
A new search mask was developed to be able to search for contact persons across all business partners.
Material requirement request in the Web Client
The material requirements request module has been redeveloped to have the same display in the web client and in the main programme.
Service calendar
A new service calendar allows an easy display of future assignments.
Special calendar for employees
It is now possible to make deviating calendar settings directly for an employee. If a staff member works part-time for two months, for example, different planned working times can be saved for this period without having to create a separate calendar.
Evaluation of personnel provisions
Two new evaluations enable the display of overtime and absences per employee.
Other application types
New request types have been introduced for the clear management of sickness notifications and planned illnesses.
Internal cost allocation for equipment and machinery
The internal activity allocation of hourly and article entries was expanded to include the analysis and booking of equipment and machine bookings.
Planning authorisations and self-planning
It is now possible to give some project managers only limited planning possibilities. Especially when handing over the planning from the project manager to personnel managers, it can be restricted that the personnel managers are only allowed to assign the planning, but not to change it in quantity.
Likewise, it can be set that staff planning is only allowed within the phase period.
In addition, it is now possible to better set which employees are allowed to plan themselves in which projects.
Project master
The Project Master screen in the main programme and in the Web Client have been unified. However, it is not yet possible to change the project master data in the Web Client.
Employee commissions
It is now possible to calculate commissions for internal employees for each billable hour.
The commissions are determined when the invoice is issued, but are only settled for the employee when the customer has paid the invoice.
Support operations for multiple clients
In the cloud, sometimes several customers are affected by the same error. A main support case (master ticket) can now be created and assigned to several clients. All customers receive the same messages.
Advanced picklist filters
With complex contracts and several open picklists, the synchronisation between the contract quantities and the picklists was confusing. Existing picklists can now be overwritten from the contract. This is filtered according to fixed price items and phases.
Hours recording - fast entry
In the fast entry, the working time from coming and going can now be displayed as a reference to the distribution of the times. In addition, it is possible to display the hours as '1:30' instead of '1.5'.
Printing travel expense attachments
Attachments to travel expenses can now be printed with the trip or attached when sending the invoice via email.
