cloud computing should make life easier for your users. This also applies to the cloud version of SAP Business One. However, as is so often the case in life, complex solutions are often required to make the complicated simple. Also the management tool for the SAP B1 cloud is not necessarily self-explanatory.
The SAP Business One Cloud Control Center should be familiar to all administrators who have set up and/or maintain SAP Business One in the cloud.
Ultimately, it is a management platform that enables a horizontally scalable cloud architecture for SAP Business One on SQL or HANA can be created and managed. The Cloud Control Centre for SAP Business One has been available since 2013. The main purpose of the web application is to enable the administration of users and the management of the cloud structure. This also includes a user portal as various backend tools.
SAP Business One Cloud Control Centre - Expertise in demand
However, SAP has of course continued to develop the admin tool.
After the basic choice between the MS-SQL platform and SAPHANA is possible, a wide variety of know-how may be required: HANA or SQL Server Administration, Windows Server 2016, Hyper-V, VMware vSphere and of course SAP Business One.
Because of this wide range of topics, experience and the exchange of experiences play an important role.
Cloud Control Center videos
Back in 2013, Richard Duffy, SAP Business One consultant or, as he calls himself, SAP Business One Evangelist, set about documenting his experiments with the Cloud Control Centre. The YouTube video published at the time showed his first steps with the platform, but was detailed enough to take over an hour to complete.
After four years and some more experience, SAP Business One consultant now thought it was time for a new version of the training video. According to him, the intensive dialogue with the experts at SAP also helped.
He has now recorded the new video and published it on YouTube. It is again 64 minutes long and very detailed. However, it is only the first part. Mr Duffy has kept to himself how much more will follow.
