Richard Duffy is back! After a short excursion away from SAP, he seems to have remembered the qualities of SAP Business One again. For one of SAP's Australian partners, he is now putting videos on the web again, and probably still has a lot to do with the new features of SAP Business One 9.2.
A new feature he introduced in a new video on Youtube is in the depths of the customizing of SAP Business One 9.2. It concerns the linking to Business objects within SAP Business One. Although this was already possible in the past, it required somewhat deeper skills. This way, however, it can be taught to every user who should and is allowed to make such a link.
The example Richard shows here is to create a link to a delivery note for a service case in SAP Business One. To do this, a user-defined field is created in SAP Business One with the type "Link to System Object". This is done in the usual way in SAP Business One. When creating the field, you can then immediately specify which object you want to link to. The corresponding selection field with all documents related to the business partner then appears in the corresponding screen.
In are the little things that make life more beautiful!
