Some things have already been announced – now the „first traces“ are to be found on the web: SAP will be fishing for customers among „ERP beginners“ in the SME sector in early May with a new offering. With the SAP Business One Starter Package The aim is to enable small and very small companies to start with professional business software from the very beginning.
According to reports, up to 5 users can be equipped with a licence, which is limited in its range of functions, but costs less than EUR 1,000.00. In a Youtube video Richard Duffy says something about it, but unfortunately not what the limitations are.
However, any „wild licensing fantasies“ that might be developed right now can be immediately rejected. It is stated that these maximum 5 licenses can only be used once per company and not mixed with other licenses.
Even the specially created website getagreatstart.com doesn't provide too much information yet ... it will get better 😉
