SAP reacts to the Corona crisis with free access to the trading platform

The international crisis surrounding the COVID-19 virus (corona) is affecting almost all areas of the economy. International supply chains in particular are also affected. To help everyone who is looking for new and different sources of supply, SAP is granting free access to its SAP Ariba Discovery trading platform.

Free access to SAP Ariba Discovery

Buyers can initially publish their requirements for 90 days and suppliers can then submit their offers. Both posting requirements and responding to them are completely free of charge.

The Ariba platform is a digital marketplace that is already home to 4,000,000 trading partners worldwide. The motto here is fast and effective contacting and processing of business transactions.

The offer is intended to support companies in mitigating supply bottlenecks caused by the fight against the coronavirus.

How to make a first post on SAP Ariba Discovery can be seen in this video:

Other SAP services free of charge

In addition, travellers can now also get free help from an SAP conure Get software. The Concur travel app TripIT organises travel plans automatically. The travel management system monitors booked flights, for example, and provides information about changes or delays. The aim is to support those who still have to (or can) travel. So anyone who registers by 31 March 2020 can TripIT Pro for a full six months free of charge.

The TripIT app is available on both the iOS platform as well as for Android smart phone.

Reporting portal for corona recovery action

SAP has set up a portal for the Federal Foreign Office in a major move. The reporting portal is to be the new contact point for German citizens stranded abroad. The new platform www.rueckholprogramm.de was set up in just 23 hours and is now intended to help bring fellow citizens back home via an airlift.
