Budget distribution in SAP Business One is the transfer of an amount from the budget to a subordinate unit in a hierarchical structure.
At the subordinate position, you are free to decide how the budget amount received is to be handled. For example, you can distribute it again to subordinate positions in the hierarchy. These positions can be, for example, the positions of an investment programme or individual elements of a work breakdown structure. In the context of investment programmes, budget distribution is the passing on of the budget from a programme position to the individual measures assigned to it.
