An application that is part of SAP Business One and runs on the basis of SAP HANA Analytics.
This application allows you to view all fields (such as description, amount, comment, etc.) of business objects in SAP Business One that have been stored in an SAP HANA database, browse and display the results in an overview. The supported business objects are master data, analytical content and transactions.
Enterprise Search is a comprehensive search function in SAP Business One that searches database content and groups the results according to master data, document types and financial data.
Functions:
- Search for menus, base data and receipts (e.g. customer name, receipt number, invoice amount).
- Filter and narrow down the results according to categories or objects.
- Double-click on a result to open the corresponding data record.
- Results are displayed on the left-hand side, grouped by area.
Availability:
- Only in the SAP HANA-version available from SAP Business One.
- In the Web Client, the Enterprise Search searches the entire database with the option of narrowing it down.
- In Microsoft SQL systems, a distinction can be made between "Search data" and "Search menus" can be switched.
Mobile use:
- Available for modules such as business partners, inventory, sales opportunity, delivery, service call.
- Switch to the search page using the yellow ribbon at the top of the screen.
Individualisation:
- User-defined fields and objects can be displayed in search results.
- Search templates can be defined for different specialist areas.
- Tiles for frequent search queries can be created on the start page.
Alternatively, there is a similar module for SAP Business One from Coresystems, which is part of the Coresuite Country-package add-on.
