The middleware for SAP Business One

The integration framework for SAP Business One is a co-operation infrastructure for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This multi-purpose solution offers a message-orientated middleware, a service bus, Business Process Management and acts as a data provider for mobile solutions as well as a data consumer. The integration framework integrates business processes that can extend across different departments, organisations and companies.

The integration framework for SAP Business One (formerly SAP B1i) is a middleware that helps to realise a wide variety of software landscapes around SAP Business One. These can be scenarios to connect SAP Business One instances with each other or to include other SAP solutions. SAP B1 can thus be connected to a central SAP ERP via standard scenarios.

However, the middleware for SAP SME ERP can also be used to integrate any other software that has modern means of communication.

The online course on the integration framework for SAP Business One

Many online courses from the "SAP universe" are offered on the openSAP elearning platform. The special thing about this is that all courses are free of charge! Such free training has now also been added to the course programme for SAP Business One Middleware.

The online course provides an overview of the possibilities of the integration framework. In addition to lessons and demonstrations of the middleware, students can deepen their knowledge with various tasks and exercises. This requires about four hours of learning per week.

As befits proper further training, the course concludes with an examination and corresponding proof of successful participation in the online course.

Participants should have a general understanding of IT and at least a basic knowledge of SQL. In addition, knowledge of XML / XSLT is a prerequisite. However, know-how around SAP Business One should also be available.

All participants can discuss the middleware course in parallel via an online forum.

Interested parties can now register via this SAP website.
