SAP has released SAP Business One 9.3 with PatchLevel 04. This version specifically addresses the requirements surrounding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The „GDPR Version“ is ready for immediate use.
The GDPR is stressing out medium-sized companies
The European General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into force on 25 May 2018, is currently keeping many SMEs busy. We were able to find out just how much at one of our Specialist events on the subject of the new General Data Protection Regulation determine.

PatchLevel 04 is the GDPR version of SAP Business One
With the new patch level 04 of the Version 9.3 SAP is now delivering a version of SAP Business One that specifically solves some of the requirements of the GDPR. Of course, many other features in addition to the new features also contribute to compliance with the EU GDPR - European Union's General Data Protection. These include rights management, which has been specially expanded in the 9 versions.
SAP Business One must offer solutions for the following elements as part of the GDPR:
- Business partner
- Contact Person
- sales staff
- Purchaser
- Customers
- employees
- users
All these objects hold personal data and therefore require appropriate compliance with the GDPR version.
But all evidence may also fall under observation:
