SAP is becoming ever broader. The latest acquisition, which according to press reports is set to take place, is initially very surprising. The German provider Ticket Web is to be taken over.
Ticket-Web Wildau in Brandenburg operates an online ticketing system called ENTREE-tickets. The portfolio also includes industry solutions for financial accounting and customer management.
The systems can already be connected to SAP platforms. SAP is rumoured to be planning to enhance SAP Business Suite, SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Business One with additional functions from the new software package. This is probably aimed at large event organisers and other companies in the industry.
