Interim accounts SAP Business One

Interim accounts play an essential role in the world of accounting, especially when it comes to temporarily recording transactions before they are finally allocated to a main account. Such accounts are particularly useful in situations where business transactions consist of several phases and an interim account is required.

Interim accounts are widely used in SAP Business One to temporarily record financial movements until all associated transactions have been fully processed. The system uses an automatic reconciliation function to ensure that these accounts are checked efficiently and transparently. Typical interim accounts include, among others

A special feature of SAP Business One is the ability to retrospectively analyse transactions that affect the value of suspense accounts. The general ledger report is available for this purpose, which provides a detailed picture of the financial transactions with the "Include reconciliation date" option.

Versino Financial Suite

the Versino Financial Suite makes day-to-day work with interim accounts in SAP Business One much more efficient and transparent. It facilitates the traceability and reconciliation of interim postings, automates technical intermediate steps during import/export (especially for the tax consultant) and provides a continuously updated, centralised overview of all relevant processes.
