Of the Account balance is the current booking balance of an account, which sums up all posted debit and credit items. In the VFS Financial Cockpit, the new chart of accounts list view from v04.2026 displays the account balance as real-time information directly in the account line – without the user having to open the account individually.
Context
The direct display of the account balance in the list row is part of the new chart of accounts list view in the Financial Cockpit. Together with the last posting date, it provides a quick overview of a client's active and passive accounts.
