That Master data management is a master function in the VFS Financial Cockpit for list-based management of business partner and chart of accounts data. In VFS v04.2026, the functional area was expanded to include the chart of accounts – previously, it only covered business partner master data.
Context
The extension to the chart of accounts brings accountants and controllers a consistent user interface: Business partners and accounts can now be searched, filtered, displayed, and edited via mass change within the same list-based operating concept of the Financial Cockpit. Users no longer switch between different SAP B1 screens but work in a unified list interface. (Source: V04.2026_V2, Ch. 3.2, p. 6)
