That Last booking date This is the date of the most recent booking on a general ledger account. In the chart of accounts list view of the VFS Financial Cockpit from v04.2026, the last booking date is visible as a real-time metric directly on the account line.
Context
The direct display of the last booking date in the list row allows accountants to distinguish between active and inactive accounts at a glance. Accounts without current bookings – such as outdated general ledger accounts or discontinued cost objects – are therefore immediately identifiable in the overall overview without having to open each account individually.
