E-invoicing in Germany: How to implement the obligation with SAP Business One

the Standalone application The VFS Financial Cockpit is a standalone variant of the cockpit interface that can be launched without a running SAP B1 client. Authentication is done using existing SAP B1 user data.

Context

The standalone version is aimed at users who operate the Financial Cockpit permanently on a second monitor – parallel to the running SAP B1 system, but without needing an additional SAP B1 client licence for it. In contrast to the integrated version, the SAP B1 Launchpad is not available in the standalone version. Accessing multiple tenants is done without logging out and back in. Demarcation

The standalone application is not a self-contained ERP system and is not a replacement for SAP B1. It requires an existing SAP B1 installation and communicates with the SAP B1 database – it only runs without an open SAP B1 client on the same workstation.
