The Turkish version of SAP Business One has been available for a year now. An extension has been on the market since December 2014. The system was expanded by Versino Projects GmbH to include standard market functions and key areas for Turkey.
SAP Business One is generally known for its international orientation. In the country versions of the ERP solution, not only the language is mapped. Country-specific rules and processes are also integrated into the system.
"During our first projects in Turkey, we realised that although there are some requirements that can be met with the SAP Business One standard, they cannot be implemented as conveniently as a Turkish user would expect," says Ercan Atici, Managing Director of Versino Projects GmbH, who is of Turkish origin. The extended functions include special cheque management, risk management and connection to the Turkish E-Invoice System.
SAP Business One is already used by over 300 corporations to connect their international subsidiaries used. At the same time, the ERP software is used by medium-sized businesses in 150 countries. Versino Projects GmbH has taken advantage of the ERP solution and extensively adapted the standard software to the special requirements of Turkey. In doing so, the updateability of SAP Business One is not restricted.
The SAP Gold Partner developed all country-specific enhancements in collaboration with Turkish experts. This was essential for the successful implementation, says Managing Director Ercan Atici. "For us, the expertise of our colleagues from Turkey was an ideal complement to our more than 10 years of experience with SAP Business One. This really helped us to implement the sometimes extremely specialised requirements of the Turkish market."
