Cartagena is a harbour city in the south-east of Spain. In addition to the Mediterranean Sea, Cartagena also has a 3506 metre long race track for motorbikes. Since 1968, the local company MT Helmets head protection for fast sports on two wheels.
The reach of the helmets now extends far beyond the Mediterranean. MT Helmets is now represented in over 50 countries. In order to fulfil its quality and customer service requirements, a merchandise management system with a wide range of functions is required. A suitable ERP system must also be customisable and expandable in the long term. In its search for a suitable solution, the company came across SAP Business One - and has stuck with it.
Since the implementation two years ago, MT Helmets has achieved improvements in all business processes. An online platform with real-time synchronisation of all orders was also created as part of the project. This also enables the ordering process and dispatch to be as fast as on the race track.
